![]() ![]() There was an unspoken acceptance that, if you crank a photoshop wet brush up to 500px, your stroke will lag noticeably behind your pen, no matter how fast your CPU is, or how much RAM you’ve got. For a long time, graphic designers/illustrators became sort of… used to this kind of lag. Moreover, if Wacom’s drivers are fully compatible with the M1’s, how well do they REALLY work? Are there any digital painters/ concept artists/ animators out there who can attest to the M1’s performance? My biggest gripe about my current MacBook Pro (a 2018 model which has a 6-core i7, 16gb RAM) is that it can get quite noticeably laggy while using large Photoshop brush sizes. I have a Cintiq Pro 24, I really love it, and if I’m gonna consider upgrading to an M1 Mac (such as the new iMac or MBP) I’ll wanna know how compatible the M1 really is. There have been a lot of YouTube videos about the performance of the M1 macs, and quite a few on video editing (Premier Pro) and 3-D rendering applications (Blender), but NONE on how well the M1 works with a Wacom Cintiq pen display. We can all get frustrated sometimes, even at Wacom. And include exact tablet/cintiq models, instead of just saying "Wacom tablet". I really don’t understand what’s going wrong with this new version of storyboard pro.DARK MODE NORMAL THEME Home hot new top RulesĪll posts need to be descriptive, ESPECIALLY technical or compatibility issue submissions. However, with both the problem is still present. If I allow just one monitor for the tablet, the slippage is more important. After fiew testes, It seems that the problem is linked to my two screens. Everything is freshly updated and working correctly except with storyboard pro 6. I also did the same for the video drivers. I have unistall all wacom drivers and files, checked and installed the most recent. When I draw, there is a slippage between the location of the pointer and where the line appears. I’m trying the free version of storyboard pro 6, downloaded the 24 th of july 18 (why this date, because this topic has 4 old years…but it seems that the problem is still actual) My computer is runing with Windows 10, and I have a wacom intuos pro tablet which has worked and still does with any other softwares and earlier versions of storyboard pro with mac or PCs (I use it for my job). ![]()
